On friday I did a short visit to the medieval town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber in Bavaria, Germany. Worth visiting: town hall square, buy some teddy bears, shop for Christmas souvenirs in June at Käthe Wohlfahrt and get some Schneeballen (4th photo below). Noticable: many japanese tourists and even japanese salesclerks. Enjoy the photos below!
This year (actually yesterday) the weather was worse than last year and the year before that. Rain, sunshine and rain again.
FlickrLeech. Cool.
Still now having returned fully - in my mind - from my trip to Japan, I´ve been looking for VR pictures from that great country. Here are a few from places I actually visited:
Finally, panorama journey has some great japanese panoramas too, but I could find any places I actually visited (found via QTVRDiary).
Today I nearly didn´t get my morning coffee at the office. The other company hosted on your floor was moving out, and my coffee cup disappeared for a few hours. But I´m drinking way too much coffee anyway - hence, sometimes it´s good to slow down (great picture).
On the other hand, getting to work is a bit faster right now, since as the U6 underground railway´s station Gumpendorferstrasse is closed - due to constructions works - the trains moves right along. I guess it would be better if there wouldn´t be a station after all. Did you notice, the slightly awkward english translations - something like "Closed of Gumpendorfer station" - being pasted over a few days later?? Hm, that´s Vienna.

This past saturday I re-visited the Concorde in Sinsheim:
The Flappr web application makes surfing flickr photos great fun. Like those here of Tokyo. (Do not type "Tokio" ´cause you will get many unnecessary Tokio Hotel photos)
Flickr has some gorgeous HDR New Amsterdam pictures (high dynamic range) like this one: hdr esb 1. New Amst´dam? NYC! (via werbeblogger)
Surfing new and old flickr entries is a great Saturday afternoon pastime for anyone. After reading about this on vowe.net and mattandjess, I tried a few photos myself. First, open the list of recently uploaded photos and hit ´Reload´several times. Here are some photos I hit upon:
Actually, I could continue this forever, but then why?
This week I´ve visited an exhibition of christmas cribs at the Historical Museum of the City of Crakow. Those cribs are part of an annual cribs builders content. Here´s my cribs photo show.
Yesterday, I´ve been hiking with the girls - at Kampalpe near Spital am Semmering. Going up was a bit complicated - we had no clue where the path was. Least there was another group following use - they though we knew the right way. Enjoy the photos!
[Note: I´ve deleted a few photos of the other group for copyright concerns.]

Lufthansa Boeing 747-200
Wanna see what I´m up too this days?? Last weekend I´ve visited with a friend - who´s a model train collector - the Gauge 1 meeting (Spur 1 Treffen) at Museum Sinsheim in Germany. Besides trains they also have real planes - and very special planes too: the Concorde and the russian Concorde (Tupolev). This picture though is the great blue-yellow color of the Lufthansa Boeing 747-200.
Check out also a few pictures hiking in the Hochschwab region (Styria, Austria).
