Wow. You can watch all the Super Bowl Ads without getting tired to the office.
Finally I had time to watch the Microsoft iPod packaging commercial. Really funny! Interesting for the marketing people and funny for everyone else. Of course, it wouldn´t be the same without that music!

Is it funny? No idea. G Hicks sent me this movie from Hart + Larsson. It´s big - 160 MB. Crazy, you never know where you end up when clicking an unknown link.
Probably related to some people considering this blog an advertising blog, prompting a battle of the ad blogs nomination. Well, I could win a cool T-shirt. :-) Vote, vote, vote!
Now I even received ads from Scholz & Friends Berlin. Coming up soon - I´m too tired now.
Two time good fresh tunes: you gotta watch this Renault crashtest commercial by Hamburg agency Nordpol - available either here or at sicher.de. The song is sung by Rina Ketty (Amazon.de) and called J'attendrai (Thanks Darja). via Werbewunderland
The other french musical surprise - though a bit similar to the music of Yann Tiersen (Wikipedia)- is the french newcomer band Lé0parleur. I saw a short introduction to their music on Arte tv. Their new album Tout Ce Qui Brille is right now out in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and will be released in March in the rest of Europe. On iTunes there´s the previous album Revoir la mer. Folk, jazz, akkordeon. Good!
Actually, due to my non-speaking of the french language, I had some problems when subscribing to the concert newsletter (to check out whether one day there will be a concert in Austria). The site is available in a french and english version, but the newsletter subscription is only in French. Usually, when you subscribe to a newsletter on a website, you have to confirm by clicking the link provided in the welcome message. But what did that message mean? (I deleted part of the code and the link here)

I hope that the newsletter will be bilingual. :-)
I love Starbucks. Over in the US they have great marketing campaigns - such as this one - ´cause they are the only place to get a decent coffee in the US. Watch The Red Cup - the second installment of that commercial should be out latter tomorrow or today, depending on in which time zone you live.
Heck, I don´t care about Kate Moss. But I was sent this link to Hart Larsson, so visit this site and watch the movie 14 and Wow. Thanks George!
Just who is Neil French?
Neil French is saying some women in advertising are crap. I´d add some women are portrayed in a crappy way in advertising (not linking them in any way with Neil French though).
Unemployed creatives like Marc and Tom do suffer. Plus they could offer you a complete sexual package of your dreams. :-)
Yeah, it´s really Marc and Tom, not Marc, Oliver and Alexander.
The fast coffee cup.
We, the citizen´s of Vienna, didn´t expect that Thank you! But then, we call these sausages Frankfurter. :-)
An Error Morris commercial for Miller.
Of course, the commercial with Ellen "Oh, I love my G4" Feiss (QT) for Apple´s switch campain is even better. Isn´t she lovely? (via fscklog)
Gerhard Martinek, von der Agentur CCP Heye wirbt für McDonald´s Österreich. Hier ein Auszug aus dem Interview im Standard (mit Astrid Ebenführer) vom Montag (25.10.04):

Aha.
The exhibit 10 Jahre Onlinewerbung (in German) shows 10 tens of banner advertising. Disappointingly, beyond the first banner ad ever - from Hotwired - it only lists German weblogs and fails to present international trendmarks.
It´s also surprising that this site - with it´s very flat and ordinary design (Oh my god, it´s still full of tables) - is a T-Online site.
Great animation. Great video. Click at | KDLAB V3 | on "Summer 04 Reel". (Broadband connection necessary!)
.. plus Christina Aguilera, Kimi Raikkönen, a bird and a car.
I like this ad for the Siemens M65 mobile phone - as seen today yesterday at the BlogWalk walk through Vienna: picture 1 (click on the picture above for a bigger size) and 2 (with Heiko Hebig standing below).

Mary Roach: Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers
Very very good!
Scott Berkun: The Art of Project Management
My 2nd project management book.
Hannes Stein: Endlich Nichtdenker
Not a book for idiots, actually!
Kara Knafelc: Tokyo
Japan. Ah. What more should I say?
